JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Thursday the annual World of Nations got underway. The event was open to schools so that students could visit the various booths representing different countries. Traditional foods, clothing, music and dancing helped to educate the field trippers about the countries being represented. The World of Nations runs through the weekend at Metro Park. Friday the event will also only be open to schools until 5 p.m. when the International Party gets underway. The World of Nations will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
