ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- An Orange Park family cannot return to their home Tuesday evening after a fire caused approximately $20,000 worth of damage to their house.
The Orange Park Fire Department responded to the fire around 5 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at 560 San Robar Drive.
Firefighters tried to enter the house, but they were forced out due to the amount of fire and smoke coming out of the home.
Neither the family nor firefighters were injured in the fire. The residents were able to get out of the home in time.
The family is receiving emergency services from the Red Cross.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined yet. It is now under investigation by the Orange Park Fire Marshal's Office.
