JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Zombies will invade Jacksonville when Thrill the World takes place Saturday, October 27 at 3 p.m.

Held at Intuition Ale Works, locatd at 720 King St. in Riverside, the event will attempt to break the world record of the most number of zombies dancing simultaneously to Michael Jackson's Thriller.  Zombies around the globe will take place in the dance.  Locations include Los Angeles, Melbourne, London, Dublin, Paris, Toronto and Jacksonville.

Marie Reeder, Jacksonville Event Manager, said, "Jacksonville zombies will dance for donations in support of Hubbard House.  Hubbard House provides safe haven for victims of domestic violence, empowering victims and bringing about social change through education and advocacy.  The event coincides with Domestic Violence Awareness Month in October."

A sponsor of the event, Intuition Ale Works, encourages zombies to invade King Street.

"We'll give a free beverage to each registered zombie and contribute $1 from every beer sold to Hubbard House," said Cari Sanchez-Potter, General Manager of Intuition Ale Works.  "As a family-friendly business we are excited to welcome lots of Jacksonville's kids and grownups dressed as zombies.  This is a great way to kick off our Zombie Invasion Halloween Party for that night."

For those interested in dancing, please email Marie Reeder at ttwjacksonville@gmail.com and learn the six-minute Thriller dance online at www.thrilltheworld.com.  For more information, visit the event's facebook page at www.facebook.com/thrilltheworldjacksonville.
