JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Here is a list of this weekend's events around town.

SATURDAY NOVEMBER 17, 2012

ST. JUDE GIVE THANKS WALK: Join supporters of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the Jacksonville community and in 90 cities nationwide by participating in the St. Jude give thanks walk. All participants will enjoy great food, entertainment, and prizes. Registration for this family-friendly 5k event is FREE, however, participants do have the ability to form teams and win great incentives by raising money to help save kids battling cancer and other deadly diseases. The walk takes place at Jacksonville University Saturday at 8 a.m.

GO GIRL MUD RUN: On Saturday at 8 a.m., ladies can participate in the go Girl Mud Run, a women's only 5k mud running, obstacle dodging, gut busting fun run. Along the way, prepare to tackle 10-12 challenging obstacles before racing to the finish line and celebrating with a 1000 or so of your closest gal pals at the post race festivities. Go Girl is for women of all ages and athletic abilities, and it's the perfect event to bring you and your girlfriends to for a day of fun, fitness, and mud. Go Girl is not a "race" but rather an un-timed obstacle course designed to push your limits just a little. We encourage you to wear costumes, form teams, help your fellow Go Girls along the way to get through to the finish and most importantly laugh your butt off! JACKSONVILLE BIKERS FOR BABIES: Join motorcycle enthusiasts from all over Northeast Florida in the first Bikers for Babies Jacksonville! Formerly known as RIDE, this is the first motorcycle fundraiser for the March of Dimes in Jacksonville since 2004. There will be food, giveaways and a 50 mile police-escorted ride through beautiful Jacksonville, leaving Adamec Harley Davidson off Baymeadows Road. All proceeds benefit the Northeast Florida March of Dimes. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the ride starts at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Price: Riders $25 in advance, $30 day of ride; Passengers $15 in advance, $20 day of ride.

HORSE FUN DAY: Horse fun day is a day of horse fun for the whole family! Kindred Spirits Equestrian Facility will have educational and interactive booths where kids of all ages can learn everything about horses, including riding styles, horse tack, horse showing, nutrition, breeds, and much more! Every participant will have the opportunity to ride a horse! Admission and access to horse riding and all the interactive booths is FREE! Families may also join us for arts in crafts such as painting the horses and making horseshoe picture frames! There will also be a fun obstacle course challenge set up so kids can experience a day in the life of a horse rider! There will be food, raffles, contests, and time to meet the horse trainers and other professionals in the industry. Gates open on Saturday at 10am and close at 2pm.

INTERNATIONAL SKEET CLINIC WITH OLYMPIC MEDALIST VINCENT HANCOCK: Join Jacksonville Skeet and Trap Club as they host Olympic gold medalist Vincent Hancock. He'll be holding international skeet clinics at the club both Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. To 2 p.m.

NORTHEAST FLORIDA MODEL RAILROADERS OPEN HOUSE: This event is for all model railroad fans and members of the public! Stop by to meet our members and view our modular layout which has been exhibited throughout Florida and Georgia. Signs will be posted to help you locate our site in Reynolds Industrial Park on State Road 16 East in Green Cove Springs. Bring the family--all ages are welcome! 4TH ANNUAL RIGHT WHALE FESTIVAL: At the Seawalk Pavilion in Jacksonville Beach Saturday from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m., the Right Whale Festival will feature a beach cleanup, activities for children, music, food, and displays geared towards informing and inspiring the community about right whales, their habitat, and their conservation needs.

ADVENTURE LANDING'S WINTERFEST: The second annual WinterFEST, a 57-day event that will bring a nostalgic winter wonderland to the Jacksonville area, starts this Saturday at Adventure Landing. Shipwreck Island Waterpark will be transformed into a whimsical, alpine snow village with a large, outdoor ice skating rink (with real ice!), a 130-foot ice slide dubbed the "Alpine Racer", nightly snowfalls, s'more roasting, light displays, a chance to meet Santa in his "house", Blizzard Bluff Village offering Christmas cookie decorating, a crafts area, a free holiday carnival, a teddy bear-making factory and Mistletoe Marketplace. Patrons will also get the chance to enjoy Crystal Creek Lodge for an array of winter eats, treats and sweets from hot soups to hot chocolate. JAM! CAR CLUB: Jam! Car Club is having a car show for Homes for the troops at Rick Keffer dealership in Yulee 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

SKYLANDERS GIANTS MALL TOUR: Skylanders Giants arrives at the Avenues Mall providing an up close and personal look at one the season's most anticipated game and toy Saturday from 10 a.m. To 9 p.m. There will be gaming kiosks, displays and stations in addition to other fun activities!

THE SAN MARCO ART FESTIVAL: Howard Alan Events is proud to be producing the San Marco Art Festival! This high-end festival will return with the nation's most talented artists and fine crafters. San Marco Boulevard is home to great shopping and fabulous restaurants. Browse and purchase original handmade works including: glass, photography, painting, mixed media, fiber, jewelry and much more. Artists will be on-hand all weekend to share their inspirations for each uniquely-crafted piece. It's Saturday from 10 a.m. To 5 p.m.

MEET CLIFFORD THE BIG RED DOG: Come meet Clifford the Big Red Dog at MOSH! From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., join PBS' beloved Clifford the Big Red Dog to learn about Gardening & Composting in MOSH's newest exhibit, Green Revolution! This eco-exhibit builds awareness of our fragile earth and demonstrates solutions to more effectively protect our air, water, soil, and wildlife. WJCT's Kids Club and the Jacksonville Public Library will be on site for this exciting event that will include story time sessions and photo ops with Clifford! All the activities are included with museum admission. $10 for adults; $8 for children 3-12, military and seniors. FREE for children 2 and under and MOSH Members.

RIVERSIDE ARTS MARKET: The Riverside Arts Market is every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. off Riverside Avenue underneath the Fuller Warren Bridge. It features crafts, art, live entertainment and more!

RIVERSIDE WINEFEST: In 5 points, taste over 300 wines while enjoying live entertainment and food vendors. The WineFest is only a $30 donation and comes with an engraved wine stem and a $5 coupon that you can redeem that day as you wish with participating Five Points merchants and vendors. LADIES NIGHT OUT - BURLESQUE THEMED JAZZERCISE EVENT: Are you in need of a girls night out? Join Jacksonville Southside Jazzercise Center for a burlesque-style workout and fun give-a-ways as the Southside Jazzercise Center gets transformed into Saturday night's hottest dance club! ST. AUGUSTINE HALF MARATHON WEEKEND: Put on your running shoes and participate in a foot-race that suites your running level. The Half Marathon course will be USATF certified. Each run takes place at various locations between St. Augustine, St. Augustine Beach and Crescent Beach. ST. AUGUSTINE NIGHT OF LIGHTS: Nights of Lights is a 2-month long celebration of the Holiday Season. Millions of white lights create a magical holiday atmosphere in the Nation's oldest city during the 18th Annual Nights of Lights Celebration in St. Augustine, Florida. Tracing its origins to the Spanish tradition of displaying a lighted white candle during the Christmas holidays, the spectacular lighting reflects the city's 446-year history while creating a beautiful setting for special memories. A TOTALLY AWESOME NIGHT WITH NEMOURS: The fundraiser for Nemours is set for Saturday at River City Brewing Company. 6TH ANNUAL HOLIDAY SPECTACULAR: The St. Johns Town Center's annual Holiday Spectacular is presented by St. Vincent's HealthCare from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday. The free event will celebrate holiday traditions such as having sledding hills, face painters, costumed characters, magicians, 60 tons of snow and more! The activities lead up to live performances beginning at 6 p.m. from Chris Wallace, The Ready Set and The Disney Channel's Bridgit Mendler before welcoming Santa to the property, lighting the 32-foot Christmas tree and fireworks!

DRUMLINE PRESENTED BY THE ARTIST SERIES: The DRUMLINE LIVE performance takes over the Times Union Center at 8 p.m. Saturday. For tickets, visit artistseriesjax.org. Tickets start at $32. ROAR N' SNORE CAMP-OUT: The Roar N' Snore is Catty Shack Ranch's bi-annual fundraiser where you and your family & friends can camp out beneath the stars with our residents! Your admission includes a campsite in the field by the enclosures of tigers and lions, dinner, a night feeding of our residents, a bonfire all night (with s'mores!), and breakfast in the morning. The Roar N' Snore offers a great opportunity to spend time at the ranch in a much smaller, more personalized group. You must bring your own camping equipment; we do not have any for rent. Coolers with drinks and snacks are permitted - however, please do not bring any alcohol. Additional snacks, drinks (sodas & water), souvenirs, and interactive feeding experiences with the cats (you will still be safely behind two layers of fences) will be available the day of the event for purchase (cash, check, Discover, MasterCard, and Visa are accepted forms of payments at the ranch). SUNDAY NOVEMBER 18, 2012

ARTFUSION SUNDAYS: ArtFusion provides a creative and supportive environment for children to work with their parents or adult caregivers. Join us this fall for hands-on projects that relate to the featured exhibition, ReFocus: Art of the 1980s Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. at MOCA Jacksonville.

CHRISTMAS WITH THE SASSY TAPPERS: The Sassy Tappers of the Neptune Beach Senior Activity Center will perform "Christmas with the Sassy Tappers." The show, choreographed by Patty Zipperer, is set to popular holiday tunes and features performances by Santa and Mrs. Claus, Santa's Elves and Reindeer, as well as other dancing dolls. The finale is reminiscent of the Rockettes' "Parade of the Wooden Soldiers." This show is sure to put audiences of all ages in the holiday mood. JERSEY STRONG HURRICANE RELIEF FUNDRAISER: Join Eagle Landing Athletic Center Sunday at 2 p.m. As they raise funds and accept donations for the victims of Sandy. Wear green to show your support for the garden state!
