COLUMBIA COUNTY, Fla. - A Ft. White man is in custody after leading Columbia County Sheriff's on a three hour foot chase.
Columbia County Sheriff's Office deputies attempted to serve an arrest warrant to Brandon Lee Hodge, 30, for sex offender violations, according to a release from the Columbia County Sheriff's Office.
Hodge allegedly fled a residence at the 700 block of SW Buck Court in Ft. White when deputies arrived around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, the release detailed.
Deputies created a perimeter and brought in K-9 units with the CCSO and the Florida Department of Corrections and began a three hour search for Hodge, according to the release.
Hodge was located by deputies and taken into custody near Rum Island Park.
Hodge is currently being held in the Columbia County Jail without bond and is facing charges of resisting an officer and sex offender violations.
