BAKER COUNTY, Fla. -- An Advanced Disposal garbage truck caused a mess instead of cleaning one up Wednesday afternoon.
Around 2 p.m. the garbage truck was traveling south on State Road 121 when it spilled hydraulic fluid onto the road, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The spill resulted in a two-car collision. One of the cars was carrying a three-year-old child.
No one was hurt in the crash.
The southbound lane of SR-121 was closed for two hours while the Department of Transportation placed sand on the roadway to absorb the hydraulic fluid.
One of the vehicles sustained an estimated $500 in damage.
