ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. -- The daughter of Barbara Parchem, who was found dead in Flagler County woods last week, appeared in court Thursday to face gun charges.
Deputies in St. Johns County arrested Lilly Ann Chavez last weekend while investigators were working on her mother's case.
They say she had nine guns in her possession. Chavez is a convicted felon with prior gun charges. A judge is now deciding on bond.
Parchem disappeared at the beginning of April and deputies found her body last week in Flagler Estates.
