JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Time has expired to take advantage of one of Florida's prepaid college plans, but there is one way that you can still lock in this year's prices.
If you already received an enrollment kit in the mail from the Florida Prepaid College Board, then you can complete the paper application and mail it in.
Florida offers four different prepaid college plans:
- The four-year university plan covers the cost of tuition, tuition differential and local fees.
- The two-plus-two plan pays for two years at a college and two years at a university.
- The four-year college plan, which is new this year, covers four years at a state college.
- The two-year college plan pays for 60 hours at a state college.
If you bought a prepaid tuition-only plan in the past, you can still purchase a plan to cover local fees.
