Jack Del Rio gambled to start the 2011 season when he jettisoned David Garrard in camp and inserted Blaine Gabbert into the lineup in Week Three.

"To score six points [on offense] today is ridiculous, complete nonsense," Maurice Jones-Drew said after Sunday's loss.

Gene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union makes the case that Del Rio should be fired now.  We doubt that happens, but it seems like only a matter of time before Del Rio is let go.

Asked about Del Rio's status after Sunday's loss, owner Wayne Weaver said, "That's for another day."

That day is probably January 2.
