JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- In the 24 hour diners on Atlantic Boulevard, all people could talk about overnight was the election.

"I don't think that my vote really counts," said Tom Wiltfang, who voted for Mitt Romney.

President Barack Obama has been declared the winner, despite the fact that Florida's electoral votes have still not been awarded.

"I think a lot of people are going to be upset because, well if Florida's took out of the equation, then why waste your time voting?" Asked Wiltfang.  "'Cause it doesn't count.  It doesn't matter."

However, many voters' opinions seemed to fall along party lines.  People like Henry Jones, who voted for President Obama were not as upset about the wait for Florida's results.

"I voted in the State of Florida," Jones explained.  "That's all that matters.  So, if we [are] waiting on Florida, guess what?  My vote is in there."

Alex Quinn said he was happy with the final results of the Presidential election, but he still feels the Electoral College should become a thing of the past.

"We need some reform in that area of elections, especially with technology and how easily it is to cast a vote for anything whether it's American Idol or the American President," Quinn asserted.
