JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The NFL season is just two days away from seeing the Jacksonville Jaguars in action.
The Big Cats will play host to the Miami Dolphins on Friday night. The team wants to make sure you know about all the new changes at home games that could affect your pocket book.
It's something fans are talking about.
Starting this season, there are new rules for fans at EverBank Field.
Wednesday, the Jags announced the new bag rules, which are taking effect across the NFL.
Clear plastic tote bags, one-gallon clear plastic freezer bags and small clutches are allowed.
"The implementation of this clear bag policy will not only improve the safety and security of all of our guests, but once people get used to it, it'll expedite the entrance into the stadium," said Jaguars President Mark Lamping.
What is not approved are items including book bags, diaper bags camera cases or other totes.
While fans can still bring outside food in, it might possibly mean they can bring less of it. For example, Guest Services said a combo meal of a pulled pork sandwich with coleslaw and beans costs $9 and a drink costs $5.
For a family of 4, that may possibly mean $56 spent on food.
