ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The following traffic information on Mumford and Sons' St. Augustine tour stop has been provided by the city:
The Gentlemen of the Road Stopover, featuring Mumford and Sons, will necessitate traffic restrictions in the downtown area that includes street closures and limited access areas. The event, Friday and Saturday, September 13 and 14, is expected to draw approximately 25,000 people to the event site, Francis Field.
Streets bordering Francis Field will be closed to all traffic from 12:00pm (noon) each day until 3:00am the following morning including: W. Castillo Dr.; Orange St. from Riberia St. to Cordova St.; Riberia St. from Orange St. to W. Castillo Dr.; and Cordova St. from Orange St. to W. Castillo Dr.

From 8:00pm each day and continuing until 3:00am the following morning, vehicles will be prohibited entry to San Marco Ave. south of Old Mission Ave. and S. Castillo Dr./Avenida Menendez north of the Bridge of Lions. Vehicles will also not be permitted entry into the historic district bounded by Cordova St., Orange St., Avenida Menendez and Cathedral Pl.
Limited access in residential areas
The three neighborhoods in the closest proximity to Francis Field, designated as Uptown, Abbott Tract, and Flagler Model Land, will be accessible only by residents displaying a color coded pass. Respective neighborhood associations will deliver two per passes residence approximately one week prior to the event. Additional passes are available for houseguests and residences with additional vehicles by calling 904.209.3750 or by email to email@example.com. Additional passes require proof of residence in the specific neighborhood.
Remaining open throughout the weekend will be Ponce de Leon Blvd (U.S. 1), King St., Cathedral Pl., and the Bridge of Lions, although heavy traffic congestion should be expected during the peak hours of late afternoon and evening.
