JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- An early morning shooting in Arlington sent two to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The shooting is believed to have occurred in an apartment in the Arlington Village apartments in the 1000 block of Bert Road according to Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Det. Jeff Overholser.
A male and female were shot during the incident and both were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.
The female victim was transported to Memorial Hospital Jacksonville. It is unknown at this time where the male victim was transported.
According to Det. Overholser, the male victim claims the shooting occurred in the street.
Detectives are looking into what, if any, connection the two victims have.
Police are also looking for a specific individual who leases in Arlington Village apartment complex who may have information on the shooting.
An investigation is underway and JSO is looking for witnesses to interview.
