COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. (WBBH) -- There's a mess in a hotel in Collier County.
Deputies say Thomas Flipse flooded 22 of the hotel's rooms on three different floors.
It happened at the Hampton Inn near Immokalee Road.
Deputies say Flipse locked himself in a bathroom and caused enough damage to cause a pipe to break, which led to the flooding.
We went there tonight, and spoke with people who said they couldn't get a room.
"It sort of did. I didn't think that it would be full by looking
here...but they told us that they were full, and that they didn't have
vacancies," said traveler Jack Robewald.
Deputies say Flipse was aggressive and uncooperative when they tried to talk to him.
They also say they found several empty beer cans and a marijuana pipe when they entered his room.
