NINETY SIX, S.C. -- A Jacksonville man was killed in a hog hunting accident in South Carolina on Saturday morning.

According to Greenwood County deputies, 51-year-old Robert Iselin Jr. was fatally shot in the torso when a fellow hunter mistook him for a wild hog.

First Coast News has learned that Iselin, an avid sportsfisherman and hunter, owned Marine Structures Consulting.

The bulkhead and dock building company is located in Jacksonville and operates as a family business.

Two of the victims' brothers, who were part of the hunting trip, told deputies that Lucas Brickweg of Satellite Beach, Fla., shot Iselin accidentally when he heard a sound that he thought was an animal.

According to the Associated Press, deputies turned the investigation over to the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources who arrested and charged Brickweg with criminal use of a firearm and having no hunting license.
