Richland County, SC (WLTX) - Richland County deputies have arrested a woman they say bit one of their officers.

Rosa Yolanda Samuel, 45, is charged with trespass after notice, assault on a police officer while resisting arrest, and threatening the life of a public official.

Officers say around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, they got a call of an incident at JT's Kia on Killian Commons Parkway. Deputies say the woman was filming employees and customers at the store, but when she was asked to stop and leave, she refused. Even when deputies arrived and asked her to stop, they say the woman didn't comply.

When officers made an attempt to handcuff the woman, deputies say she lunged at an officer, then bit the person in the forearm, breaking the skin.

Samuel was then detained by other officers.
