FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. -- A man who believed he was going on a first date ended up being robbed and left naked in a cow pasture Friday night.
Shaun Williams, 34, was beaten and robbed of his money and his clothes after a woman allegedly used the promise of a date to lure him into a robbery.
According to Williams, he met a woman two weeks ago and the two went on what Williams thought would be their first date Friday night.
Williams likely will not be asking for a second date.
Williams said the woman and two other men picked him up and the woman said one of the men was her brother. The woman said she had to drop him off at his house before the two could go to dinner, according to Williams statement to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.
The woman drove around for several minutes eventually parking in an empty cow pasture off West State Road 100 in Bunnell.
Williams told deputies he got out of the vehicle and was hit in the face with a hard metal object and fell to the ground.
One of the males pulled a handgun on him and told Williams to give him all his money and clothes.
Williams then emptied his pockets, took off all his clothing and tuned everything over to the man.
The woman and the two men fled the scene, leaving Williams standing naked on the side of the road.
Deputies found Williams bloodied and naked walking along the road.
Williams was taken to Florida Hospital Flagler where he was treated for several minor injuries.
Flagler County Sheriff's Office Detectives are asking anyone with information on the incident to contact their offices at 386-586-5801
