MIDDLEBURG, Fla. -- Arrest warrants have been issued to two men and two women who were allegedly involved in the hit-and-run crash that occurred on Wednesday, according to the Clay County Sheriff's Office.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office spokesperson Mary Justino, said a man was in a restaurant around 3 p.m. when he saw someone trying to get into his green Ford Explorer.

He went to confront the person in the McDonald's/Cedar River Seafood parking lot when a black Toyota with three accomplices inside hit him, causing minor injuries.

The Ford Explorer driven by the suspect and the Toyota, which is a stolen vehicle out of Jacksonville, then sped east down County Road 220, Justino said.

A CCSO deputy then went up to the Ford Explorer after seeing it at the BP station at CR 220 and Henley Road. The four suspects then ditched the Toyota and all get into the Explorer.

The driver lost control of the car and crashed into woods at CR 220 and Hollar's Place.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office identified and issued arrest warrants for the four suspects Friday afternoon:
