LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- A man faces several charges after authorities said he hit two Epcot employees and then struck another with a metal pipe.
Austin De Van Hill is charged with aggravated battery, battery and felony battery.
Officials said they were called to Epcot on Saturday at about 7 p.m.
When deputies arrived they found De Van Hill, who appeared to be intoxicated, screaming and causing a disturbance in the park, according to an arrest report.
Authorities then escorted De Van Hill to a backstage area, where they said he continued yelling incoherent and odd statements.
During the time at which De Van Hill was resisting, he fell on the ground and cut his chin and jaw, the report said.
According to park cast members, De Van Hill punched an employee in the head in an off-limits section of Epcot. The punch caused a large cut on the employee's head.
Investigators said another cast member was punched in the face when he attempted to stop De Van Hill from taking a Disney cargo work cart.
The third Disney cast member was struck in the face and neck with a 36-inch PVC pipe, deputies said.
Both cast members who were punched where taken to a hospital, the third cast member was not transported.
De Van Hill was taken to Celebration Hospital to be checked out before being transported to jail.
