LOCKPORT, Ny. -- You know it's summer when you see kids jumping around outside, playing with bubbles, or riding their bicycles.
But Duane Price's summer was almost ruined.
The nine-year-old's bike was stolen Memorial Day weekend.
"When I noticed my bike was gone I started crying because I was sad. I just got it ... my bike for Christmas," he said.
Darcy Crofts, Duane's mom, said, "He was all upset that he couldn't ride a bike and ... his friends around the area have bikes and they were riding bikes. He had to walk or run with them."
Duane's mom could not go out and buy him a new one right away. So she went online to a Facebook group where people sell items they don't want anymore -- an online yard sale -- and asked for help.
"I was overwhelmed at all the people that were being so caring and thoughtful," she told us.
