Four teens were seriously burned Wednesday afternoon while igniting gasoline in the backyard of a home near Dallas, according to news reports.
Two victims were reported in critical condition at Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, WFAA-TV reported. One victim appeared to have suffered burns to his hands and possibly face, the Dallas Morning News said.
Two victims were 13 years old, the others 17 and 18, officials said. They were pouring gasoline on the ground and then setting it on fire.
Neighbors in Burelson, a suburb of Forth Worth, reported hearing a "boom" about 4:30 p.m CT (5:30 p.m. ET) followed by screams for help.
