JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5-30 has an interim president after the Tuesday arrests of its president and vice president.

Stephen Amos, who was the second vice president of the FOP, is now in the top spot, according to FOP spokesperson Teresa Eicher.

Former FOP President Nelson Cuba and FOP Vice President Robbie Freitas were taken into custody Tuesday in connection with a racketeering investigation into Allied Veterans of the World cafes.

Cuba was removed from his role as president of the Jacksonville FOP Foundation. Retired Chief David Stevens will now take that role.

The 15th annual Guns N' Hoses event, which is put on by the FOP, is still in the works, Eicher said.
