JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Police are continuing their investigation into the single-vehicle crash that killed a local woman, and they are looking for help.
According to the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office, 34-year-old Ulanda Peterson was a passenger in a vehicle that crashed into a utility pole Friday night shortly before 11.
The crash happened near the intersection of Lem Turner and Broward roads, just blocks from Peterson's home.
The driver, whose identity has not been released, was ejected from the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.
Peterson was trapped inside the vehicle, which caught fire after the crash. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
