JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - On June 18, Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, Food Lion and Cintas Document Management are partnering to host two "Shredding for Miracles" events in the greater Jacksonville area.
For a $10 donation, participants can bring personal and business documents to have them securely shredded by certified Cintas employees.
All donations will directly benefit the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital to support research and pay for equipment and uncompensated care.
Cintas will have mobile shredding trucks on-site to destroy documents using its SmartShred process.
All of the shredded paper will then be recycled into secondary paper products such as paper towels and tissue to help protect natural resources. Participants will also receive a coupon, compliments of GP Harmon, for a free paper product such as Brawny or Sparkle paper towels and Angel Soft toilet tissue.
The event is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Food Lions at 6765 Dunn Ave., Unit 306, Jacksonville; and at 418 Staratt Road, Jacksonville.
