JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The Jacksonville Jaguars have waived rookie defensive end Marc Schiechl and first-year center Bradley Vierling. Both were waived/injured, meaning they will revert to the team's injured reserve list if they clear waivers.
Schiechl was an undrafted rookie from the Colorado School of Mines. Vierling spent last season on Jacksonville's practice squad.
The moves allowed Jacksonville to reduce its roster to the NFL-mandated, 80-man limit by Tuesday's deadline. Rosters have to be trimmed to 53 by Saturday.
