MARIETTA, Ga. -- Police say they've made three more arrests in connection with the beating death of a U.S. Marine who was found unconscious in an apartment complex parking lot outside Atlanta.
Police say 34-year-old Zach Gamble had attended a friend's birthday party March 24 at an apartment near Smyrna. He was hospitalized for several days before being taken off life support April 8.
Police tell The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that 37-year-old Arthur Lynell Batchelor of Acworth; 36-year-old Tarell Winston Secrest of Marietta; and 35-year-old Jason Scott Hill of Woodstock were apprehended without incident on Tuesday. A fourth suspect, 38-year-old Sean DGene Hall of Mableton, was arrested Monday.
Authorities say all four men are charged with murder, aggravated battery and aggravated assault. Cobb County jail records do not indicate whether they have attorneys.
