Now that the 2012 Summer Olympics in London have ended, it's not too early to look ahead to the 2016 games that will take place in Rio de Janeiro.

Golf will be one of the new sports in the 2016 Summer Olympics.  There will be 60 men and 60 women representing their home countries in a 72 hole stroke play event.

St. Simons Island native Morgan Brian has a great chance to be a part of the USA Womens Soccer team in 2016.  She was the 2011 Gatorade National High School Soccer Player of the Year at Frederica Academy.  She is now a sophomore at the University of Virginia.

Bolles senior Ryan Murphy also has a great chance to compete in swimming.  He participated in the Olympic Trials this year as a 16-year-old and advanced to the finals in the 100 meter and 200 meter backstroke.
