JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Several Jacksonville Jaguars players will be doing their part to commemorate the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
Naval Station Mayport will get a visit from QB Blaine Gabbert, CB Will Middleton, G/C Josh Beekman, LB Kyle Bosworth, OT Guy Whimper, DL CJ Mosley, RB Will Ta'ufo'ou and QB Chad Henne, according to a release from the Jaguars.
The players will sign autographs for sailors and pass out tickets to this Sunday's home game against the Houston Texans.
Other players will be taking part in the September 11 11th Anniversary Commemoration at EverBank Field. DE Andre Branch, WR Kevin Elliot, DT Jeris Pendleton, DE Ryan Davis and OT Daniel Baldridge will help put together bags of groceries for the homeless in the community.
The players will be assisting the students from Duval County Public Schools as well as representatives from the Duval County Health Department.
