ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- The St. Augustine Police Department filed DUI charges against a 53-year-old St. Johns County woman who has been convicted of DUI five times before.

Theresa Long crashed her Honda Fit July 4, shortly after the fireworks concluded in St. Augustine. Witnesses at the time said Long's car rolled three times before coming to a stop in Nobby's parking lot on the north shoulder of Anastasia Boulevard near Gerado Street.

Long was taken to Flagler Hospital to be treated for injuries she received in the crash. While at the hospital, blood was drawn from Long to check for alcohol.

Mark Samson, Public Information Officer for the St. Augustine Police Department, said those toxicology results came back from FDLE.

The results of the blood draw from Long showed her blood alcohol level at the time was 0.125. The legal limit for the state of Florida is .08.

Since 1983, Long has been convicted of driving under the influence numerous times, five total. Long has attended DUI school four times.

Samson said the appropriate paperwork has been filed with the State Attorney's office at the St. Johns County Courthouse. Long has not yet been arrested for the newest DUI charge.
