JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say tried to rob an Exxon Gas Station.

Shortly before 4:45 a.m. the morning of October 24, a man armed with what appeared to be a "machine gun" entered the Exxon Gas Station located at 12753 Atlantic Blvd., according to a news release from JSO Public Information Officer Shannon Hartley.
