JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Local agencies are headed to help those affected by Hurricane Sandy.
The Jacksonville branch of the American Red Cross is sending its emergency response vehicle to the northeast to help.
It leaves Tuesday morning, and a the crew will go to neighborhoods without power and pass out food and water.
Florida Power and Light is now sending 865 workers and contractors to Maryland, Virginia and Washington D.C. to help with the utilities fallout.
