JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The State Fire Marshal and Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating a fire at a condominium construction site at the St John's Town Center.
The State Fire Marshal's office has ruled the blaze accidental, according to spokesperson Debra Jamison. The fire caused about $80,000 in damage according to Jamison.
OSHA area director, Jeff Romeo, said the process now involves questioning workers who were at the scene when the fire broke out to determine what happened. Since there's a general contractor and subcontractor involved it could take months according to Romeo.
Both agencies are continuing to investigate.
