PUTNAM COUNTY, Fla. -- A Crescent City man was busted with drugs when deputies showed up to serve him a warrant on other charges.
The Putnam County Sheriff's Office and the Crescent City Police Department served a warrant to a home on the 1100 block of Read Avenue Sunday, according to a release from the Putnam County Sheriff's Office.
When deputies made contact with the suspect, Thomas Mccullun, officers claim they were, "confronted with an overwhelming aroma of burnt cannabis," according to the release.
Officers also allegedly noticed a digital scale and plastic baggies in plain view in the home.
After a search of the house, officers allegedly found approximately 45 grams of crack cocaine, 50 Oxidone pills, synthetic marijuana, and various drug paraphernalia items.
Mccullun was arrested and charged with cocaine trafficking, opium or derivative trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Mccullun is facing a $75,512 bond.
