BRYCEVILLE, Fla. -- Fouraker General Store has been open since 1949. It's been run by 3 generations of the Fouraker family.
It closed December 16th.
Many in the community said it's the end of a chapter in the small, sleepy town.
The owner, Tommy Fouraker, said a combination of economic downturn and construction on Route 301 played a big part in the closing.
Fouraker helped build the store in the 40s. He said he's grateful to the customers he's seen over the decades and that they've become like family.
