JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The On Your Side team is hard at work before the New Year, getting answers and providing direction for you.

Denture Dilemma

Georgia, of Jacksonville, said she is having an issue with a local company that specializes in making custom dentures. Georgia said she had paid in full, up front, for a set of dentures and she has not gotten them.

The On Your Side team recommends she continue calling the denture company and calmly explain the issue. It might also be a good idea to visit the place and speak to someone in person. If you find yourself in a similar situation, it might also be a good idea to keep a detailed record of documents you signed and of the work that was done to you.

Lastly, call the Florida Division of Consumer Services with your specific complaint. They can be 1-800-435-7352 or by going to 800helpfla.com.

Car Concern

-Contact the Florida Division of Consumer Services at 1-800-435-7352 or go to 800helpfla.com.

-You may also want to contact the Better Business Bureau at 904.721.2288
