JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- A 31-year-old man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on three counts of receiving child pornography over the Internet.
Samuel Franklin Crews faces a mandatory of sentence of 5 years in prison, up to 20 years in federal prison on each count and a potential life term of supervised release.
Crews was arrested on December 31, 2013, in Lake City and is ordered to be held in prison pending his trial in March.
The indictment alleges that he knowingly received visual depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct over the Internet in April.
