Police seeking attempted robbery suspect

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office is seeking an attempted robbery suspect.

Early Thursday morning at 4:25 a.m., JSO launched an investigation into an attempted robbery at the Gate gas station in the 10900 block of New Kings Road, according to a release from JSO. Further investigation determined an unknown female suspect entered the gas station and handed the cashier a note demanding money. The suspect then fled the business and was seen entering a small white car driven by another unknown individual, the release detailed.

The suspect is described as a female, 5-feet-5 inches tall and weighing between 180 to 190 pounds, according to JSO. She was wearing a hooded top, Jordan sneakers and is between twenty to thirty years old.
