ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. -- Investigators have learned more information on the still-missing vehicle involved in the hit-and-run crash that killed a 15-year-old girl.
According to a release from St. Johns County Sheriff's Office Media Relations Officer Kevin Kelshaw, Florida Department of Law Enforcement investigators found metallic purple or black paint chips at the scene of the crash on Kenton Morrison Road.
The SJSO and the FDLE is now looking for a vehicle such as a Chevy S-10 pickup or a S-10 Blazer.
The passenger's side windshield and the passenger's side A-pillar would also have damage, as well as a recently replaced or missing passenger's side mirror.
