JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Two Jacksonville men were indicted Thursday in human trafficking charges by a grand jury.
According to the Department of Justice, 23-year-old Clive Sephas Nelson and 29-year-old Erick George Brooks allegedly committed commercial sex trafficking between December 2012 and May 2013.
Nelson was indicted on Jan. 15 and is charged with trafficking a minor girl. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of life in prison.
Brooks was indicted on Nov. 14 and is charged with trafficking an adult woman through force, threats of force, fraud and coercion. He was arrested on Dec. 4 and is awaiting trial scheduled for Feb. 3, 2014. He also faces life in prison if convicted.
Both cases were investigated jointly by the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
