Day, Snedeker, Cabrera share Masters lead

Augusta, GA (Sports Network) - Jason Day holed out for eagle from a greenside bunker on No. 2 on Sunday to grab a piece of the lead at the 77th Masters.

Day, who birdied the first, is 3-under par through four holes and is tied atop the leaderboard with third-round co-leaders Brandt Snedeker and Angel Cabrera.

Snedeker birdied the first from 11 feet out to join Day at minus-8. Snedeker parred the second and third to remain there.

Cabrera, the 2009 champion, 2-putted for birdie from 10 feet out on the second to gain a piece of the lead. He parred the first and third.

Adam Scott is even par after four holes and is alone in fourth place at minus-6.

Tiger Woods 3-putted for bogey on the fifth to slip to minus-2. He is tied for ninth place

Former PGA Champion David Toms fired a 5-under 67 to finish the tournament at 1-under 287.

The next closest player finished is Michael Thompson, who also carded a 67 on Sunday. He stands alongside Rory McIlroy (69) and Richard Sterne (70) at 2- over 290.

Three-time champion Phil Mickelson closed with a 1-over 73 to complete his tournament at 9-over 297.

A light rain is falling and it is expected to increase in intensity as the day continues.
