FAIRHOPE, Ala. -- Most of the new faces within the Jaguars organization won't arrive in the Mobile area until Tuesday morning, but it was a couple familiar faces stealing the headlines on Monday.
The big news on Monday was that Jaguars wide receivers coach Jerry Sullivan and linebackers coach Mark Duffner are being retained by new head coach Gus Bradley. So far, they are the only two assistant coaches who will be returning from last year's staff.
Bradley along with offensive coordinator Jedd Fisch, defensive coordinator Bob Babich, and general manager Dave Caldwell will all be arriving in Mobile on Tuesday. It's possible that Bradley will be adding new members to his staff later in the week.
The South Team held their first practice at Fairhope High School on Monday. As he does every year, University of Alabama head coach Nick Saban stopped by to support his former Crimson Tide players.
Former University of Florida defensive coordinator Dan Quinn was in attendance at Monday's South Team practice. Quinn is now the defensive coordinator of the Seattle Seahawks. He recently filled the position vacated by Gus Bradley.
There are two former Gators on the South roster: RB Mike Gillislee and OT Xavier Nixon.
The former Seminoles on the South roster are: QB EJ Manuel, DL Everett Dawkins, LB Vince Williams, and K Dustin Hopkings.
There are six former Georgia Bulldogs on the roster including: DT John Jenkins, WR Tavarres King, DL Cornelius Washington, DB Bacarri Rambo, DB Shaun Williams, and DB Sanders Commings.
