With Week 4 completed, 12 players set to come off suspensions

Now that the first quarter of the NFL season is in the books, a dozen players are set to return to their teams after serving suspensions for the first four weeks of the year.

Arizona Cardinals linebacker Daryl Washington, Jacksonville Jaguars receiver Justin Blackmon and Seattle Seahawks linebacker Bruce Irvin are the most notable of the players set to re-join their teams this week.

The teams will be given a one-week roster exemption for the players to return to practice before having to be placed on their active 53-man rosters. In order for the players to play this week, they have to be placed on the active roster by close of league business on Saturday.

The players set to return this week:

Arizona LB Daryl Washington, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Baltimore S Christian Thompson, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Indianapolis WR LaVon Brazill, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Jacksonville WR Justin Blackmon, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Minnesota OT DeMarcus Love, suspended for a PED violation.

New York Jets RB Mike Goodson, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

New York Giants S Will Hill, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Oakland WR Andre Holmes, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Seattle LB Bruce Irvin, suspended for a PED violation.

Washington LB Rob Jackson, suspended for a substance-abuse violation.

Washington DE Jarvis Jenkins, suspended for a PED violation.

In addition, linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar is also returning from suspension. He is expected to re-sign with the St. Louis Rams on Tuesday. Dunbar was suspended for a violation of the league's PED policy.
