JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - After another record-setting performance Saturday, Jacksonville University quarterback Josh McGregor has been selected Pioneer Football League Offensive Player of the Week.
McGregor, a senior from Royal Palm Beach, Fla., threw for 346 yards and five touchdowns Saturday in a 50-14 win over Morehead State.
The touchdowns give McGregor 105 for his career, placing him eighth on the all-time Football Championship Series list for career touchdown passes.
With his 346 passing yards, McGregor became the 28th quarterback in FCS history to surpass the 10,000-yard passing mark in his JU career as he now has 10,050.
This is the second time this year McGregor received the award as he San Diego's Mason Mills and Davidson's Jonathan Carkhuff shared the award on Sept. 25.
