Olean, NY (Sports Network) - Demitrius Conger scored 20 points and made a pair
of clutch free throws late in the game as the St. Bonaventure Bonnies beat the
Buffalo Bulls, 82-79, in a non-conference thriller at the Reilly Center.
Conger shot 7-of-11 from the field, including 3-of-5 from beyond the arc, and
handed out four assists to lead the Bonnies (4-2) to victory. Chris Johnson
added 14 points and four steals, Matthew Wright scored 11 points and Charlon
Kloof added 10. Fellow starter Marquise Simmons accounted for nine points and
a team-best eight rebounds.
Jarod Oldham scored 20 points with six assists, four rebounds, and two steals
in the loss for the Bulls (2-7), who have lost five of their last six games.
Tony Watson added 15 points and six assists off the bench while Javon McCrea
recorded a double-double with 13 points and 11 rebounds. Will Regan tallied 10
points and six rebounds.
It was 39-39 at the break after the Bulls put together a 10-0 run in the last
