St. Bonaventure, NY (Sports Network) - Demitrius Conger and Chris Johnson each
finished with 16 points to lead the St. Bonaventure Bonnies to a 97-57 victory
over The Citadel Bulldogs, in a non-conference matchup at the Reilly Center.
For the Bonnies (7-3), Marquise Simmons and Eric Mosley each added 15 points,
while Youssou Ndoye chipped in with 10 points. Simmons grabbed nine rebounds
and Mosley dished out seven assists.
Mike Groselle led the Bulldogs (3-6) with 14 points, while Matt Van Scyoc
scored 13 points and Ashton Moore finished with 10 points.
St. Bonaventure shot very well to start the contest, connecting on 51.5
percent of their field goal attempts including 6-of-13 from beyond the three-
point arc, as the Bonnies went into halftime leading 43-28. The Citadel
struggled at the outset, shooting just 39.1 percent from the field in the

percent of their field goal attempts. The Bonnies continued to stay hot,
shooting 62.1 percent from the field and making 4-of-5 three-point attempts in
the second half. The Bonnies opened the second on a 15-2 run to take complete
control of the game and thereafter cruised to the easy victory.
The Bonnies converted 20 Bulldogs turnovers into 30 points. St. Bonaventure
also dominated in the paint, outscoring The Citadel 40-20.
