Seattle, WA (Sports Network) - Andrew Andrews scored a team-high 20 points off the bench, leading six players in double figures, as the Washington Huskies held on to defeat the Arizona State Sun Devils, 96-92, in a Pac-12 Conference affair at Alaska Airlines Arena.

Shawn Kemp Jr. dropped in 18 points, Aziz N'Diaye registered a double-double with 16 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Scott Suggs tacked on 14 points as Washington (13-9, 5-4 Pac-12) snapped a four-game slide. C.J. Wilcox accounted for 10 points and seven assists, while Desmond Simmons dropped in 10 points and collected seven rebounds in the highest-scoring game of the season for the Huskies.

The Sun Devils (17-5, 6-3) were paced by Jahii Carson who knocked down 13- of-19 shots from the floor to arrive at 32 points as the team had a three-game win streak snapped. Jonathan Gilling responded with 22 points, thanks to 6- of-8 shooting behind the 3-point line, followed by Jordan Bachynski and Carrick Felix with 10 points apiece.

Washington scored the first points of the night and never looked back, converting 58.8 percent from the floor in the first half in order to take a 52-44 advantage at the break. The Sun Devils remained close thanks to a stellar 64.3 percent effort from the field, including 6-of-11 beyond the arc through the first 20 minutes of action.

In the second half ASU closed the gap with 63.3 percent accuracy and an even more impressive 6-of-8 showing on the perimeter, but the Huskies still secured the victory as they converted all 12 chances at the free-throw line in the frame.

Washington, which held the Sun Devils to only two offensive rebounds, shot not only 52.9 percent from the floor but also a near-perfect 21-of-22 at the charity stripe.
