Starkville, MS (Sports Network) - Keion Bell went 10-of-16 from the field to
net 24 points as the Missouri Tigers completed a 78-36 rout of the Mississippi
State Bulldogs in a Southeastern Conference affair at Humphrey Coliseum.
Jabari Brown netted 20 points for Missouri (18-6, 7-4 SEC), which also
received 11 points from Laurence Bowers. Alex Oriakhi grabbed 10 rebounds as
the Tigers picked up their first win in a true road game this season.
Trivante Bloodman paced MSU (7-16, 2-9) with 13 points. The loss was the ninth
in a row for the Bulldogs.
The Tigers managed to score 14 points before the Bulldogs made their first
basket of the contest over eight minutes after tip-off. Missouri shot 46.9
percent from the field while allowing MSU to make just 4-of-25 from the floor
in the opening half en route to a dominant, 34-10 halftime lead.
Although the hosts heated up slightly to connect on 33.3 percent of their
field goal tries in the second stanza, Missouri poured in 61.5 percent of its
