San Diego, CA (Sports Network) - San Diego State junior guard Jamaal Franklin is heading to the NBA.

The university confirmed on Friday that the two-time First-Team All-Mountain West choice has elected to skip his senior season.

During his three seasons at San Diego State, Franklin guided the Aztecs to three straight NCAA appearances, three NCAA Tournament victories -- the first three in school history -- three consecutive seasons of 23 wins or more, and three Mountain West championships (2011 regular season, 2011 tournament, 2012 regular season).

This past season, Franklin led the Aztecs in scoring (17.0), rebounding (9.5), assists (3.3) and steals average (1.6), which made him the only Division I player in America to lead his team in all four categories.

Franklin played in 87 career games -- starting the final 55 games in which he saw action -- and averaged 13.6 points with 7.0 rebounds.
