Cincinnati, OH (Sports Network) - The Cincinnati Reds selected the contract of outfielder Billy Hamilton from Triple-A Louisville on Monday.

The club also activated catcher Corky Miller from the 15-day disabled list, he had been sidelined with a right quad contusion, and recalled infielder Neftali Soto from Louisville.

Hamilton is the Reds' No. 1 prospect as ranked by MLB.com. He set a professional record with 155 stolen bases over 132 combined games in Single-A and Double-A last year.

The 22-year-old batted .256 in 123 games for Louisville this season, and he was leading the International League with 75 steals at the time of his promotion.

A 40-man roster move to accommodate Hamilton still needs to be made by the Reds.
