Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Spencer Hawes had 21 points and 14 rebounds in the Philadelphia 76ers' 78-61 win over the Orlando Magic.

The Magic trailed 42-35 at the break and pulled within three after beginning the third on a 7-2 flurry, but the Sixers countered with a 14-1 run to seize control of the contest.

Hawes had seven points during the surge, which was capped on Arnett Moultrie's jumper to make it 58-42 in favor of Philadelphia late in the frame before the home team took a 60-46 lead into the final period.

The margin reached its apex at 20 in the fourth.

Philly opened up a 20-6 advantage in the opening stanza and led 28-16 after a quarter of play.
